Eat Up Australia: Feeds School Kids

It's hard to believe but there are many young Aussies who go to school each day without any lunch. And without food concentration is compromised. Which means learning is compromised. Which means their future is compromised.

Eat Up is an Australian not-for-profit that helps feed hungry disadvantaged school kids.

To date we have delivered 950000+ sandwiches to 500+ schools across Victoria New South Wales and Queensland.

With the generous help and lunch-making skills of a dedicated army of volunteers Eat Up makes and deliver thousands of lunches a month to schools around Australia. In fact since 2013 we've delivered over 850000 lunches. Which is over 850000 afternoons of learning salvaged from the grips of hunger. And

Help us feed the 1 in 5 kids that goes to school with no food in their belly

10.9% of Australian children live in poverty. And those kids need all the help they can get. So even if you don't have any spare dough you can still support us by chipping in alongside other teachers students parents corporate and general-do-gooders.

How to Help

Here's a few ways you can get involved.

Individual
Come along to one of our public sandwich-making events! These are fun fast and very productive - we're talking 5000-sandwiches-in-an-hour productive.

You can come along on your own or with family and/or friends. Kids under 12 are able to volunteer as well so long as they're accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Corporate
This is a great way to get your team involved in a hands-on activity to help hungry kids. We come to your office bringing all ingredients and equipment. All we need is an hour or two of your time around 25-40 willing sandwich makers a little space and a parking spot for our van (especially important for CBD locations).
