I love spontaneous, natural photography, but I also have a soft spot for classical portraiture, beautifully lit and carefully composed.

Above all I believe family photography doesnt have to be cheesy. Children dont have to be photographed through a vaseline lens. I simply try to do what every skilled portrait artist has attempted since the invention of the paint brush - to capture the essence an individual at a certain stage of his or her life. And to do it with warmth and beauty.

I dont have a shop-front and I am not tied to a single location. Instead I pride myself on tailoring each session to fit the client. I can arrange a shoot in your house or garden, on the beach or in the park. In fact, law-permitting, I can arrange a shoot pretty-much anywhere.
As the father of a train-obsessed 3 year-old I know how important it is to set the mood. I and my trusted assistant are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure your child is happy and relaxed. This may mean wearing bunny hats or crawling on hands and knees imitating farm-yard animals. We are nothing if not dedicated.

Aside from my photographic skills, I am an expert at blemish removal. Thanks to my Photoshop skills I can eliminate cuts, bruises and dribble at the touch of a mouse.
I understand that you are busy and that the best-laid plans can come unstuck. If sickness or bad weather - or anything else - intervene I am happy to reschedule for no extra cost.
