acre is a farm-to-table restaurant located within Camperdown Commons; a community initiative on the site of the former Camperdown Bowling Club.
Our goal is to create a consciousness about the effect of everyday food choices. We aim to achieve this by providing a sustainable menu focused on transparency, seasonality & traceability.
We support and partner with a small collection of local farmers and producers who are passionate about their product.
The animal proteins we use have always been ethically reared, and we only select in-season Australian fruits and vegetables, and not necessarily the pretty ones.
Ultimately we want to serve you beautiful food that hasn't travelled far to be on your plate, that tastes as fresh and delicious as it possibly can, because it's been produced in the right way.

Parties up to 9 adults are invited to order from the al la carte menu. Groups between 10 adults and 25 guests are considered a large group booking and are required to dine from our set menu.

garden terrace
Breakfast is served from 8am - 11.30am in the outdoor area, five days per week, Wed - Sun.
This space is mainly considered a walk-in space, everyone is welcome to grab a table and order from the bar.
Parties of 15 adults and up to 30 guests can make a large group booking. Large group bookings are required to select one of our set menu options.

lower terrace
The Lower Terrace is located on acre's Garden Terrace, adjacent to its outdoor Spritz Bar. Overlooking the farm, this is the perfect location for an intimate, yet casual party in a unique setting.
The space is covered, and has blinds available in case of rain. The space is lit up by fairy lights in the evening. We have heaters and blankets available to keep warm during winter evenings, and a misting system to keep cool on the hot days.
booking times
The lower terrace is available for hire Wednesday - Sunday, between 8am - 12pm, 1pm - 6pm or 5pm - 10pm. There is a noise curfew that applies from 10pm.
upper terrace
The Upper Terrace is located on acre's Garden Terrace. This outside area, adjacent to the kids' playground, overlooking the farm, can fit an elegant seated event or casual standing up party.
The space is covered, and has blinds available in case of rain. The magic of the space comes to life with fairy lights in the evening. We have heaters and blankets available to keep warm during winter evenings, and a misting system to keep cool on the hot days.
booking times
The upper terrace is available for hire Wednesday - Friday, between 8am - 12pm, 12pm - 5pm and 5pm - 10pm. On Saturday all day & Sunday lunch, the upper terrace is not available for exclusive hire. On Sunday evening, it can be hired from 5pm - 10pm. There is a strict noise curfew that applies
from 10pm.

You can find the container right next to the entrance, serving you your daily coffee fix & takeaway snacks, brekkie or lunch.
