Sited next door to the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose venue opening in August 2022.
Allianz Stadium, the newest in Allianz's family of seven stadiums around the world, brings a world-class venue and an unmatched fan experience to one of the most iconic sporting precincts in the world.
The New South Wales Waratahs, Sydney FC and Sydney Roosters will be the ground's major tenants. It will be used as one of the venues for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, and a Regional Venue for the 2032 Summer Olympics.
Allianz Stadium (Sydney Football Stadium) will be a 40-45,000 seat rectangular stadium with substantially improved sightlines, a roof that covers all patrons, with vastly improved amenities, food and beverage options and accessibility.

Getting There
The Allianz Stadium precinct is located on the doorstep of the CBD. Sydney's public transport system allows patrons to move freely to and from the precinct.
Central Railway Station and the Moore Park Light Rail easily services big crowds of event goers heading to Allianz Stadium. Cycling or driving are also viable alternatives in the Moore Park area every day of the year.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
With frequent light rail services and a number of regular bus routes, the best way to get to and from Allianz Stadium is by public transport.
Catch a light rail service to Moore Park on the L2 and/or L3 Randwick Line to get within a short walking distance of the SCG. From Central Railway Station, light rail services leave via Chalmers Street and bring you to the Moore Park stop which is located on Anzac Parade, just south of Allianz Stadium.
During major events, express light rail shuttle services will also run.
Alternatively, it is about a 25-minute walk from Central to Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert 'Tibby' Cotter walkway.
A number of regular bus services stop along Anzac Pde, Oxford St and Lang Rd all within walking distance of the stadium.
CAR PARKING
Parking in the Moore Park precinct is available under the current provisions:
EP2 and EP3 - Public parking on event days only ($30 fee per car). Entry to EP2 (Lower Kippax) via Driver Ave off Moore Park Road and EP3 (Showground) via Driver Avenue off Lang Road.
Entertainment Quarter Public parking (fees apply). Entry to the Entertainment Quarter parking via Lang Road.
Sydney Boys High School
Public parking for selected events only (fees apply). Entry to Sydney Boys High School via Cleveland Street
Sydney Girls High School
Public parking for selected events only (fees apply). Entry to Sydney Girls High School via Anzac Parade and Cleveland Street.
NOTE: Parking at all sites is limited and Special Event Clearways may be in force for surrounding areas.
All car parks have areas reserved for patrons with disabilities.
If you are planning on driving plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time.
TAXI & RIDE SHARING
There are permanent taxi ranks located in the Entertainment Quarter on Errol Flynn Boulevard (opposite the Hordern Pavilion and another on Moore Park Road opposite the Olympic Hotel. At present there are no designated Uber or Hire Car zones in the precinct.
A drop off area will also be available on Driver Ave before events.
After major events a ride share exclusion zone may also be in place. Consider a pick-up location away from the stadium.
