Rosehill Gardens Racecourse

The renowned Rosehill Gardens Racecourse is located 23 kilometres west of Sydneys CBD on James Ruse Drive, and along with the Royal Randwick is one of the states premier racing venues.

Home to the Sydney Turf Club, which was established in 1943, Rosehill has been conducting races since 1885. Work begun on the course back in 1883 and its completion in 1885 was at a cost of $17,000.

Getting There

By Train:
The entrance to Rosehill Racecourse is 400 metres from the Rosehill train station, on the Carlingford line. Visit Cityrails Journey Planner for the latest train times.

By Bus:
Veolia Transport NSW runs a bus service to Alfred Street. A short walk along Oak street will get you to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. Visit Veolia Transports website to plan your journey.

By Ferry:
Paramatta Wharf is your nearest Ferry port, and there is a complimentary shuttle bus service that will take you to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. Visit Sydney Ferries to download ferry timetables and plan your journey to Rosehill Racecourse.

Parking:
There is free parking available at the entrance to Unwin Street.
