Balakairali |
"Balakairali"is an organisation formed by few Indian Expatriates of Kerala origin.
The sole aim of the organisation is to promote the Malayalam language among the younger generation of Indian descendants to speak, read and write Malayalam and teach them Indian cultural values.
Balakairali was formed a year ago and currently we are running 3 different classes based on the age of the student. We have formed a committee to manage this organisation.
Our classes are conducted in western Sydney on Sundays currently for two hours. We have also formed a Malayalam Library to introduce and promote Malayalam Literature for which the membership is free for Balakairali member families.
This being a non-profit organisation, we are only collecting a nominal fee to meet the running cost of this organisation. All the teachers are qualified and purely volunteers working only of their own interest. Our long-term plans include conducting music classes to teach Indian musical instruments.
Our goal is to prepare the students to become teachers to teach Malayalam language to their younger generation.
