The Bunker Cartoon Gallery is located on John Champion Way, Coffs Harbour, and is open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
The Bunker Cartoon Gallery is Australias first and only dedicated black and white art gallery exhibiting the largest private collection of contemporary cartoons in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Gallery is housed in an authentic underground WWII bunker that has been converted to a funky exhibition space.
The Venue
The Bunker Cartoon Gallery is wheelchair friendly and welcomes coach tours. The Gallery is also available for hire as a venue for events such as launches, cocktail parties, business or promotional events and the like. Contact the Bunker Gallery for more information.
Volunteers
The Bunker Gallery, which is run by Council, relies on volunteers to man the reception desk and to assist staff with mounting, framing and hanging of artworks, and for various duties on opening nights and during special events. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer (even if you are only available once or twice a month), please contact the Gallery on 6651 7343.
