Cafe 212

Cafe 212

Cafe 212 was Sydneys first 5 star restaurant known as Cyranos. Now known as, Cafe 212 on riley.

When the restaurant opened in 1979, Sydneys finest Chef Rolf Widmer introduced a cuisine to Australia never seen before except in France, known by the French as Nouvelle. This was to the liking of some of Sydneys most prominent business people and local residents, such as Mr Paul Keating (former Prime Minister of Australia) and Mr Lionel Murphy and his entourage of Judges.

This cuisine carried on until 1990. Our famous cuisine was launched in France by a gentlemen by the name, Mr Paul Bocuse.

In 2009, we now have a fresh face in the culinary world, newly appointed Itzhak Zoaretz, and he hails from Israel. Itzhak has also prepared meals for Prime Ministers along with pop singers and famous chefs like Gordon Ramsey.

He takes pride in presenting delicious food that is simple, fresh and looks irresistible. Come on down and try his new menu by booking on 9215 5140.
