Centennial Vineyards

Centennial Vineyards is located just minutes from the historic township of Bowral in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, just over an hour south of Sydney.

This premium cool climate vineyard at over 760m in altitude (in winter snow is possible) ensures grapes ripen slowly with enhanced flavour and intensity. Slow ripening together with fastidious attention to viticulture and low cropping levels, results in premium quality fruit, creating wines of elegance and distinction.

Our wine has been acknowledged at wine shows, internationally and nationally, with hundreds of medals from trophy to bronze.

Winemaking
The winery at Centennial Vineyards is busy all year with the peak of activity at vintage which runs from March to May. Once vintage finishes other tasks come to the fore - checking barrels, blending, bottling and cleaning tanks. Then it's time for vintage again.

Cellar Door
Centennial's cellar door is open 7 days. Visitors can taste a selection of award winning wines surrounded by the inviting French Provincial decor that gives the feeling of being welcomed into a home rather than a business. The cellar door even has a fire in winter. The friendly staff are all locals with a passion for wine and the Southern Highlands.

The Seasons
The Southern Highlands is renowned for the changing seasons. Maginficient gardens reflect this with vibrant colours in spring and autumn. Centennial Vineyards is part of this rich local tapestry with splashes of daffodils, blossom and new life in spring and yelllow and orange hues in autumn. The vineyard is one element to the working farm that makes up Centennial and calves can often be seen beside the driveway. In winter the sheep do their thing in the vines, feeding under the vines and fertilizing at the same time.

The Weddings
With views across the vineyards, Centennial provides a magnificent location for your special day. Photographic opportunities include the vineyard and gardens providing a rustic country and or elegant estate backgrounds. The elegant charm of Centennial Vineyards Restaurant adapts to the seasons with al-fresco dining inn summer when the glass doors to the patio can be opened while in winter guests can enjoy the large open fire.

Cellar Door is open every day from 10am to 5pm
(except closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day).
