Clareville Kiosk Dining

Clareville Kiosk offers a light, airy, cottage environment adjacent to Clareville Beach. The building is set amongst an established garden including a magnificent frangipani tree. The restaurants west facing position allows diners to enjoy the filtered light as the sun sets over beautiful Pittwater.

The restaurant is fully licensed with seating for 40 people. Tables may be configured in a number of different ways to cater for both intimate dining and a variety of other functions.

Clareville Kiosk restaurant began originally as a post office & general store. Many people who dine at the restaurant relate stories from their youth of buying lollies & milk from the building.

Clareville Kiosk opened as a restaurant in 1983 with Annie Palmentier & Brian Studek at the helm. It immediately developed a reputation for "exceptional, simple, fresh, delicious, no-nonsense food."(Leo Schofield 1987).

Over the past 25 years it has become an icon on the Northern beaches for fine dining. While being tucked away at Clareville Beach behind a frangipani tree, it has maintained a reputation for excellence amidst a cosy, intimate, relaxed setting.

The restaurant has been featured in the SMH Good Food Guide since the first edition and has been listed in the 2010 25 year "stayers list"

In 2008 Padie Starr took over the restaurant. She was joined by Chef Matthew Kneipp.

The Clareville Kiosk Restaurant continues the tradition of presenting excellent food in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
