Eastern Lounge was born as a community-based opportunity for both emerging and experienced musicians to showcase their talents to appreciative audiences. There is a dearth of live music venues on the North Shore, so Eastern Lounge goes some way to redressing that situation.
Why Eastern Lounge? Our original venue was situated on Eastern Valley Way... and Lounge is the atmosphere were creating. This is an ideal place to relax with friends after a long week at work, grab a drink from the bar and soak up the sounds of some of Sydneys best musicians. And we've settled on an Eastern Water Dragon as our logo because these guys abound on the lower North Shore - home to our venues - one at Roseville and the other at Mosman.
Once a month we transform The Roseville Club on the Pacific Highway and The Mosman Club on Military Road into warm and welcoming lounge-style venues where locals can be guaranteed that, whoevers playing, the quality of music will always be first class.
Youll experience all sorts of music styles from Acoustic to Afro Beat, Brit Pop to Blues, Folk to Funk, Surf, Ska, Soul and Swamp. (You wont hear Gothic, Grunge, Screamo, Techno, Thrash Metal or Punk.. sorry, but you just cant please everyone).
Eastern Lounge is a place for patrons who actually want to hear the artists. Its an inexpensive night out for true music lovers - just $25 at the door (or $20 pre-paid!) - and after some basic running costs are accounted for, most proceeds from door takings go to the artists. Patrons are offered quality food at a fair price from the Club Bistros and Restaurants and as a licensed premise, all drinks must be purchased from the bar.

A public car park directly behind the club caters for patrons driving to and from the venue and were directly opposite Roseville Train Station for those preferring public transport.
The Mosman Club
719 Military Road in Mosman
A two level off-street parking facility is available beneath the venue. Buses run to Chatswood (257), North Sydney (230, 228, 227) and the City (247, 245) from right outside the club and a taxi rank is located close by at the top of Belmont Road. The club is also just a short walk from Spit Junction where there is a greater number of buses available.
NOTE: While Eastern Lounge is held on licensed premises, persons under 18 years old are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult.
