KTM Designs has been creating Handspun & Hand Knotted beautiful rugs for more than 20 years. Specialising in hand knotted, custom designed rugs, we use only natural fibres like New Zealand or Tibetan Sheep wool, Chinese silk, Hemp , Nettle and Bamboo.

Its an amazingly small world sometimes! Especially when you can order a rug that is hand-woven in Kathmandu Nepal before making its way to world within a matter of weeks.

This has bridged the global trading gap with a family business that spans thousands of kilometers to the remote fringes between China and India, that is where the abbreviation KTM stands for; capital city of Nepal - Kathmandu, that brings all beautiful designs to the world - east meets west. There we practice an age-old tradition of rug making, catering to modern day western tastes. "These are more like art than just normal rugs."They are woven in the traditional way by hand in knot by knot system.
