Ladies Probus Club of Singleton
The Ladies Probus Club of Singleton meets every third Thursday of the month starting February and ending in December of this year.
The Ladies Probus Club provides an avenue for retired and semi-retired women to meet on a monthly basis to enjoy each others company and to extend the hand of friendship.
At the monthly meetings a guest speaker is booked.
Probus allows an opportunity for those who have retired to meet regularly in circumstances providing companionship and intellectual stimulus with minimum cost, the basic purpose of which is to provide opportunities for them to keep active and to expand their interests whilst enjoying the fellowship of new friends.
Meetings are held at the Singleton Diggers Club, York Street, Singleton every third Thursday of the month from 10am to approx. 12noon.
Each meeting comprises a short business review, a fellowship break with morning tea, and a guest speaker with discussion.
Our Tour Director arranges monthly outings to places and organisations of particular interest to members.
There is also monthly day tours and each year an extend tour of approximately six days to various locations.

Singleton is lucky to have two strong Probus Clubs with both the men's and women's clubs having more than 100 members each.
