Medusa Greek Taverna, under the direction of renowned chef Gregori Akridas, offers traditional Greek cuisine in a contemporary setting.

Medusa Greek Taverna, Sydney was recently awarded Best Greek Restaurant in the 2010 Restaurant & Catering NSW awards of Excellence.

Akridas uses only the freshest produce available and where possible the finest ingredients sourced directly from Greece. He prides himself on his authentic Greek recipes and the individual touches he brings to every dish.Our wine has been chosen to compliment the cuisine, with fine examples of wine and beer from both Australia, New Zealand and Greece.

The restaurant has become a popular venue for people attending shows at local venues such as The State Theatre (also located on Market Street) and Star City Casinos Lyric Theatre (about a 10 minute walk).

The Capitol Theatre and George Street Cinemas are also within a convenient, walking distance.

Open Monday to Saturday:
Lunch: Monday to Friday 12noon to 3pm
Dinner: Monday to Saturday 5.30, last meal orders taken at 9.30pm
