Opera in the Pub at The Harold

Opera . . . in a pub? You heard right! Opera Bites brings best-loved opera hits to the relaxed atmosphere of your local pub.

Opera Bites has partnered with The Harold in Glebe to bring you the world's favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub.

Tickets include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Harold. Show starts 7.30pm.

Fabulous food and drinks available for separate purchase at the venue. HAPPY HOUR from 5-7pm. All day kitchen open till 10pm for pre-, mid- or post-show dining.

April: Opera's Fools -
Clowns, pranks, schemes and disguises - opera abounds with tomfoolery. Join us this April Fool's Day as we discover the fools for love, magic elixirs and colourful characters that bring opera stories to life. With beloved favourites from Rigoletto, The Elixir of Love, Don Pasquale, The Barber of Seville and more, expect an evening of laughter, light-hearted banter and sublime tunes to keep your toes tapping and your heart full.

May: Opera Royalty -
Kings and queens, princes and princesses, opera is full of royalty. There are lesser royals too (counts and earls - all the way to pretenders!). And of course they sing some of opera's best-known music (Nessun Dorma, Dido's Lament, the list goes on). But they aren't the only royals in opera - some of the great personalities of opera (think Callas, Pavarotti or Sutherland) are known as opera royalty too. Come and celebrate them all with Opera Bites.
