Sydney Tramway Museum | Open
The Museum is open and trams operate every Sunday and Wednesday and on most all public holidays.
Our consistent opening time is 10 a.m. The last tram to the Royal National Park departs at 4.15 pm on Sundays and public holidays and at 2.15 pm on Wednesdays though we remain open until 5 pm on Sundays and holidays but only until 3 pm on Wednesdays.
Trams operate to The Royal National Park every Sunday and public holiday, the first tram operates at 10.15am, then hourly with the last tram at 4.15 pm. On other days, National Park trams operate as required while the Museum is open.
Subtitle: Mobility Impaired Access
Mobility-impaired visitors have easy access to most of the site. As the trams themselves were designed up to 100 years ago, access to the trams is somewhat restricted by their design. Howe'ver, a platform is provided to ease access to trams and the Museum staff will assist wherever possible.
Subtitle: Animals
No animals, aside from accredited guide dogs, are permitted on the grounds of the Museum or on the trams.
