Wentworth Common is an open recreational space suitable for barbeques, picnics, recreation, sports and functions and family events.

Facilities onsite in Wentworth Common include two picnic shelters, barbeques, a great playground fro the kids, a pedestrian/cycle path, toilets and a car park and are fully accessible.

Let the kids run wild and be entertained exploring the new adventure playground. Opened in October 2007, this playground features a flying fox, an enormous sandpit, a slide, climbing frame, swings and shade sails.

Other features of Wentworth Common include the Bay Marker, an elevated landform with spiralling pathway with views over the wetlands, Homebush Bay, Haslams Creek and the city skyline, a granite horse exercise trail used during the Royal Easter Show, and WRAMS, Water Recycling Plant.

Wentworth Common also has significant value as primary habitat for the Green and Golden Bell Frog and for other frog species, as well as several species of waterbirds and insect-eating birds.

Wentworth Common is located on Majorie Jackson Parkway, via Bennelong Parkway.
