The Bethlehem Tradition

Our long tradition gives our students a sense of belonging, pride and confidence as we move together into the challenges of the 21st century.

Our College has a long history in the Ashfield area, spanning more than 120 years. The Sisters of Charity established Bethlehem College in 1881. Our current enrolment is about 800 students.

The College is a regional school serving the parishes of Annandale, Ashfield, Ashbury, Belfield, Concord West, Concord, Dulwich Hill, Enmore, Lewisham, Stanmore, Strathfield, South Strathfield and Summer Hill. Many of our students travel from further afield taking advantage of the Colleges proximity to excellent transport links.

Bethlehem is committed to the development of young women who value themselves, who are concerned about significant issues in our world as they relate to justice, peace and the environment, and who value prayer and the reality of God in their lives.
