Clarence Street Cyclery was founded in 1975 by Tony and Christine Cook and is still owned and operated by the Cook family.
The first store was located at 75 Clarence St and the business moved to the present location in 1980.
Clarence Street Cyclery now covers three floors and has over 200 individual models of bikes on display.
Clarence Street Cyclery has forged a reputation for outstanding service and has been awarded the title of best Bicycle Retailer in NSW in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2005. Clarence Street Cyclery has grown to be recognised as the leading bicycle retailer in Australia.
Clarence Street Cyclery is a supporter of the Cycling Promotion Fund (CPF), a bicycle industry initiative which provides financial assistance to cycling advocacy and promotional programs nationally. A percentage of every sale of a Trek, Gary Fisher, LeMond or Klein bicycle purchased form Clarence Street Cyclery is donated to the CPF to promote cycling and improve cycling facilities.
