Over the last 15 years, Monkey Baa Theatre Company has become a national leader in the creation of meaningful theatre for young people.

Through innovative and dynamic adaptations of Australian Stories, the company has not only entertained but engaged young audiences and those young at heart.

This vibrant company, based at the Lend Lease Darling Quarter Theatre, started in 1997 by actors Tim McGarry, Sandra Eldridge and Eva Di Cesare, is also one of Australias largest touring companies with a reputation for producing exceptional quality work for young people and their families.

Central to the companys philosophy is the belief that young peoples interests are valued and respected and that they are engaged in the performing arts through the telling of stories that entertain, inspire and encourage a greater understanding of the world and their place within it.
