National Orienteering Day |
The first Sunday in May is National Orienteering Day.
National Orienteering Day serves the purpose of acting as a focus for increasing awareness and opportunities for people to Give Orienteering a Go at an ideal time of the year. A number of events are held around Australia to celebrate the day.

Orienteering Australia is the national body responsible for the organisation and promotion of orienteering throughout Australia.
