Situated in what was once a residential property, Satiate is the brainchild of Shannon Debreceny and Seana Ryan, who redeveloped the first floor above ate cafe in 2006 to cater for discerning food lovers.

Satiate is now home to Shannons European inspired cooking.

Our philosophy is to provide a memorable dining experience that cannot be created at home. We achieve this through innovative techniques, exceptional wine, exceptional service and rare local and imported ingredients provided by our dedicated providores.

Shannon and Seana Ryan have earned a devoted following among locals, foodies, holiday makers and international celebrities during their time in Bangalow.

Tetsuya trained Debrecenys passion for the produce of the local Bangalow and Northern Rivers region inspires his cuisine. Food is predominantly locally grown, locally sourced and organic. All fish is line caught between Tweed Heads and Ballina, mostly off Cape Byron and Bangalow Cheese Company provides all cheeses.

Degustation gives people the chance to experience more flavours, as opposed to just having one meal or an entree and main. The whole experience is more rewarding and you get to sample foods that you may not necessarily have chosen. It is a selection of the chefs best dishes. Shannon Debreceny
