St Andrews Cathedral School is an Anglican day school for boy and girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 located in Sydneys CBD.
The School enjoys two buildings or campuses, St Andrews House located on Sydney Square (for students from Kindergarten to Year 9) and the Bishop Barry Centre (51 Druitt Street) Senior College (for students from Years 10 to 12).
The overwhelming majority of St Andrews students pursue university and tertiary studies. The School emphasises a strong but flexible academic program that encourages students to fulfil and to exceed their academic potential within a context of authentic pastoral care.
The School makes extensive use of the Citys learning resources through the Schools City Links programme. Civic, business, legal and commercial centres, museums and cultural centres are widely utilised to ensure St Andrews is a stimulating place to learn. The city adds its own dynamism and experiences that give further individuality to the School and its pupils.
To complement our city learning environment, the School enjoys access to the playing fields and sporting facilities at the University of Sydney. The Schools 88 hectare outdoor education property known as Kirrikee is located in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
Students from Year 3 to 10 experience a sequential outdoor education program which includes diverse activities such as caving, snow camping and canoeing. Kirrikee Leadership training enables senior students to assist with leadership on junior camps.
Emphasising the education of the whole person the School has an extensive cocurricular activity programme that includes a diverse range of sports for boys and girls, and an enviable reputation for music performance and musical theatre.
