The Station - Newcastle

All aboard at The Station, the city's most unique pop-up destination with beautiful heritage building

With a grand outdoor event space on the former railway platform, a beautiful landscaped piazza, kids corner, scooter track and eclectic shopping - The Station's temporary activation is all about creativity and pop-up fun in a unique heritage setting.

PIAZZA & PICNIC LAWN

The Station's community piazza has plenty of room for events, scooting and outdoor fun! It features cooling 'misting tracks', a band stand, kids corner and interpretive design elements celebrating the sites European and Aboriginal history.

SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP

The Station is home to great shopping (think jewellery, clothing, homewares, giftwares and art), plus galleries and creative workshop spaces. Our retail hub is buzzing with creative local businesses - pop in for a browse!

PLAY ON THE PIAZZA

The Station has a fun kids corner including a huge snake and frog, balancing obstacles, a scooter track, handball courts and hopscotch! There's plenty of open space for the kids to run wild, misting tracks to skip through, and 'The Flyer' train to climb aboard.
