Barangaroo Reserve, Sydneys new headland park is now open. The best way to get there is on foot, by cycle or using public transport.

Barangaroo is the most important reinvention of Sydneys historic centre for decades. The precinct is a globally significant, 22-hectare, $6+ billion waterfront renewal project that redefines the western edge of Sydney Harbour. It will be a lasting legacy of 21st Century urban renewal for future generations.

Half of Barangaroo is public space, encompassing a continuous 2km waterfront walkway, new parks, plazas and coves - all connected to the central business district and wider Sydney through new transport links, including a ferry hub and a Metro station.

Sydneys spectacular six-hectare Harbour park, Barangaroo Reserve sits on the re-created headland at the northern end of the precinct.

In the South, the Streets of Barangaroo are open anchor tenant, Westpac, has taken occupancy of the first major commercial tower (T2). Exciting retail developments are planning, including a 10-week pop-up restaurant by world-renowned Noma chef, Rene Redzepi.
