The Picnic Train is a steam train day trip to exciting country destinations within a few hours of Sydney, such as Kiama on the South Coast.

Our goal is to provide a full steam train experience in traditional open-windowed period carriages - hauled by steam power only.

OUR HISTORY
We are one of the newest rail preservation groups in NSW, we have been running heritage train trips for over 6 years and regularly work with other NSW based rail heritage preservation groups.
