The Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT) |
The Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT) is an independent Tribunal set up by the Commonwealth Government to deal with complaints about:
superannuation funds,
annuities and deferred annuities; and
Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs)
It does this through:
conciliation to try to resolve the complaint, but where this is not possible...
formal review of the decision(s) or conduct to which the complaint relates.
The Tribunal is required to be fair, economical, informal, and quick. There is no application fee for lodging a complaint with the Tribunal, nor are any of the Tribunals costs charged to you. (Any other costs are the responsibility of each of the parties to the complaint, whatever the outcome.)
