We believe it is the following areas which make us different from other education providers:
- International students: We have , mostly international students - from school leavers to senior managers. The multicultural mix of students creates a friendly atmosphere among students from all over the world.
This provides students with not just the opportunity to interact with those from other cultural backgrounds, but also the possibility to create future prospective friendships combined with future business connections. For more details see Nationalities section.
Location: The College has two campuses located in the centre of Sydney; close to transport and main Sydney attractions such as the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and Darling Harbour etc. If you have difficulty finding us, please see the Location Section or contact our staff.
Facilities: Windsor Institute facilities are devoted to serving our educational purpose. We have more than 300 computers which we are regularly upgrading. Students use computers in almost all studied subjects (Business, E-Commerce, Information Technology, and Tourism).
Students use the Internet to conduct research for their assigned tasks. We have established an Internet cafe for the English Campus which is available in all break times, as well as before and after school.
Tertiary education: We have a variety of articulations with Colleges and Universities which provide our graduates with straightforward pathways to further studies. For further information see the University Credits Section or contact our staff.
Flexibility: The Windsor Institute academic calendar has been organised around 10 intakes each year for vocational students. By allowing students to commence their studies ten times a year, Windsor Institute enables the students to resume their previous studies both onshore and overseas with as little disruption as possible.
Students can also conveniently choose the season they would like to come to Australia. ELICOS students are accepted at the beginning of every week during the school year.
Fast track studies: The Diplomas in Business, Tourism and E-Commerce are fast track one year courses. The usual length of these courses is 18 months. Students can save money and time when they follow university studies by obtaining 6 credits at least. For more details see the University Credits Section or contact our staff.
Study Tours: Windsor Institute provides English classes for groups of students of any age and any nationality. Groups of students enjoy learning the English language combined with Sydney sightseeing, attending cultural events, bush walking etc.
High school students for Vocational Courses (any nationality): Windsor Institute accepts students direct from high school (contact us for more information). Students with appropriate levels of English are welcomed to join any of our Vocational Courses.
